Vladimir Putin Sings for Love
In an epic turn of events, Russia's President Vladimir Putin put on a great political show of comraderie for love and peace surrounding President Assad of Syria and President Obama of the United States. In response to John Kerry's suggestion that Syria could avoid getting hit by the armed forces of America, France and possibly other nations, by giving up its stock of chemical weapons and other weapons of mass destruction, the Russian President addressed the American people in a letter published in The New York Times newspaper. His letter pleaded for cooler heads to keep more ordinance from causing damage to Syrian military installations, and possibly harming more innocent civilians; notably women and children. And yet despite his open gesture, President Obama responded by keeping up the pressure on the US Congress and his friends and allies around the world, to keep the threat alive, should the proposal to dismantle Syria's WMDs fail. Singing "Stop! In the name of love", President Putin is seen here on stage, with colorful lights in the background. He is also shirtless, because of all of the topless photos and videos in which he has starred. This political cartoon pulls no punches (or very few of them, anyway), as it satirizes the leader of the Russian Federation. Investors and market analysts have suggested that if Russia is to help avoid a military conflict between the United States and Syria, he will secure the future of the Russian navy's use of the port at Tartus. That port is the last remaining Russian port in the Mediterranean Sea. The Russians have long been allied with Syria, as the Alawite regime which is controlled in Damascus has been a longtime client of Russia's military export industry. Do you think that Putin's theatrics will help to avoid a deeper crisis in the Syrian civil war? Or do you think that Putin's politics will amount to nothing? Do you think that Syria will actually give up its entire inventory of chemical weapons, under the auspices of international monitors and disarmement teams? Or do you think that Bashar Assad's government will be deceitful and hold on to its illegal weapons? Now that Assad has front-loaded the offer by signing the international treaty against WMDs, is President Obama's job going to be made easier or harder, in his effort to end the use of illegal armaments in conflicts around the world? Whatever your opinion, you could use the same skill of predicting the outcome of major market moves to capitalize on short-term investments using technologies like binary trading platforms. These platforms permit traders to make their investments at any time, from any connected device, on a wide range of assets. These investment instruments include commodities, stocks, market indices, futures, and more. That is why they are growing in popularity year-on-year. The chance to earn significant returns (up to 89%) are an excellent reason for new and veteran investors to activate their financial portfolios by trading over the Internet.
